We strive to make our website accessible to everyone. The following features have been implemented to enhance accessibility.
The site has been validated throughout as HTML5
Cascading Style Sheets
Cascading style sheets are used to control text formatting. The stylesheet has been validated to CSS3 standards. The site is also fully functional with browsers that do not use style sheets.
There are no tables on the site except any required to show tabular data.
There are various forms across the site to enable you to make contact with us. Each form field is associated with its label or instruction using a tag, so that screen reader software can proceed through the form methodically. Where radio buttons are used, there are associated tags that enable them to be correctly grouped by screen reader software.
There are no scripts that perform critical tasks.
Every image is equipped with an ALT (alternative) text. Where images are used to convey meaning, the meaning is also conveyed in the ALT text.
Links to Other Websites
External links do not open new windows unless indicated otherwise. You always remain in the same window by default.
If you think the website has accessibility problems that we could reasonably be expected to eradicate, please write to us.
